    Cancellation and refund policy

    • Written cancellation and refund requests received at ULI at least 15 days prior to the event (until 12 September 2022) will be awarded a full refund minus a €50 processing fee.
    • No refunds will be given for cancellation requests received less than 15 days prior to the event.
    • Registration may be transferred to another member of your organisation who is eligible to attend. Fee adjustments will be made, if necessary, based on ULI membership status.

    Stathis Potamitis

    PotamitisVekris-Law Partnership

    Stathis has a broadly based transactional practice focused on restructuring and M&A. He has contributed to the reform of legislation related to insolvency, restructuring and the capital markets. He has also been active in corporate governance as a member of the Corporate Governance Council since its inception. Stathis is an INSOL International Fellow, a fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy and a member of the International Insolvency Institute. He participated in the expert group that advised the European Commission on the Restructuring Directive and continues to provide advice on further insolvency law reform, and he headed the group of experts that drafted the recently enacted Law for the Settlement of Debt and Second Chance (law 4738/2020). He is admitted to the practice of law in Athens and the State of New York.

    Will Robson

    Executive Director and Global Head of Real Estate Solutions Research, MSCI

    Will Robson is Executive Director and Global Head of Real Estate Solutions Research at MSCI. He is responsible for the direction and delivery of MSCI’s applied real estate research agenda which seeks to help clients understand their real estate portfolios and the markets in which they compete. The research leverages the unparalleled breadth and depth of MSCI’s private real estate data by combining it with the firm’s powerful analytical tools helping clients tackle their everyday investment problems. Prior to MSCI, Will spent close to five years at Abu Dhabi Investment Authority as a senior, founding member of the real estate research team, helping to build that function by building tools and analytical frameworks to aid and enhance the real estate investment process. Will also worked as a research analyst at M&G Real Estate during which time he became responsible for the firm’s property derivatives activities and also become heavily involved in developing an approach to cash flow simulation risk modelling. Will began his career as an Economist with the Royal Mail and holds both an MSc and BA in Economics from the University of York and University of Newcastle upon Tyne respectively.

    University Professor and Managing Partner at the European Sustainable Hospitality Group. Passionate Hotelier ran room operations at international hotel chains and independent four- and five-star boutique properties for almost a decade. Certified Change Agent by the ISSP, keynote speaker at key industry conferences, and part of the CSW63 Sustainable Development Goals Commission at United Nations HQ. World Panel Expert for Sustainable Hospitality at HospitalityNet member and biodiversity and human rights researcher at the Hoteliers Guild Sustainability Academy.

    Kiara is a Partner at EY Greece, leading EY’s Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) practice in Greece and the CESA (Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe & Central Asia) region. She has subject-matter knowledge and 18 years of experience in sustainability consulting and assurance services, across a series of ESG aspects, including decarbonization, the circular economy, and sustainable finance. She is a BoD Member of the UNGC Network in Greece, and member of the Sustainability Committee and of the Circular Economy Committee of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce. She is providing consulting services on sustainability, decarbonization, sustainable finance strategy and target setting, sustainability governance and management systems, ESG risk and opportunities identification and impact analysis/double materiality, stakeholder engagement, community investment, measurement of non-financial KPIs, socioeconomic outcomes measurement, measurement of social return on investment (SROI), climate/green and sustainability liked bond/loan frameworks, ESG reporting, ESG training and non-financial assurance services

    Alexis Prevot

    Managing Director, Real Estate, Brookfield Financial

    Alexis Prevot is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, he is responsible for sourcing, execution and asset management of real estate secondary investments and special situations in Europe. Prior to joining Brookfield in 2021, Mr. Prevot was Chief Investment Officer of Immobel SA, a European-listed real estate developer. He previously served as Senior Portfolio Manager at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, where he focused on Western Europe real estate investment strategy across all asset classes. Mr. Prevot holds a Master of Business Administration degree from London Business School and a Diplome d’Ingénieur from Ecole des Ingénieurs de la Ville de Paris

    Jeremy Myerson

    Director, WORKTECH Academy

    An academic researcher, author and activist in workplace design and innovation, Jeremy holds the Helen Hamlyn Chair of Design at the Royal College of Art and is a Visiting Fellow at the University of Oxford. Jeremy has published several influential books on workplace design and he sits on the international advisory boards of design institutes in South Korea, Switzerland and Hong Kong. Named by Wired magazine as one of Britain’s 100 most influential people in digital technology, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by the Royal College of Art in 2016 for his work in design research.

    European Real Estate Research & Strategy, DWS

    Ruben joined DWS in 2021 and leads a team of research analysts in the European real estate research & strategy team. He provides strategic real estate market research across European countries and sectors, and provides guidance on the formation of real estate investment strategies. Prior to joining DWS, he spent 6 years with Green Street. His work at Green Street included capital allocation & strategic advisory, bespoke research and valuation analysis for real estate institutional investors. Prior to Green Street, Ruben spent four years with PwC in the Equity Advisory and Capital Markets team advising on IPOs, equity valuations and conducting capital markets research. Ruben received his MSc in Finance from Nyenrode Business University and completed the international studies program at the University of California Santa Barbara. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.

    Andrew Angeli

    CBRE Investment Management Europe BV

    Andrew is a Managing Director based in London, having joined the company and industry in 2007. He is responsible for overseeing and shaping the real estate research capabilities of the European business. He manages a team of seven which provides strategic and asset-level research support to our direct and indirect investment teams. Andrew is actively involved in pitching for new business and presenting at client board meetings as well as maintains media relations through a combination of industry conferences and press interviews. Andrew sits on the European Investment and Portfolio Oversight Committees and is a member of the Leadership Team. Prior to his current role, he headed up the UK research function and has worked in the firm’s Los Angeles and Paris offices. Before joining the industry, he worked in real estate planning and environmental consulting roles in the U.S. He holds a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning and Bachelor’s Degree in International Agriculture from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is on the Research Steering Group of the Investment Property Forum and co-chair of the Urban Land Institute’s European Office and Mixed Use Council

    Stelios is a journalist with extensive experience in covering business, politics and general news for some of the world's leading news groups and Greek media. He has worked with the Wall Street Journal and Reuters, covering stories coming out of Greece, Cyprus and Brussels. He has also commented on events and given interviews to NBC, BBC, Channel Seven (Australia), RTE Radio and France 24, among others. Stelios has also specialised in the field of real estate, an area that has always posed a strong interest for him. Apart from the crucial role that real estate plays in the economy, Stelios believes that light, design and space are features that shape lives. He currently writes on the sector for Institutional Real Estate Inc (IREI.COM), Insights Greece , BusinessDaily.gr and his blog GreekGuru.net.

    Tassos is an experienced property investment professional with 24 years of experience in the fields of property investment and management. He is the founder and managing director of 8G Capital Partners Ltd, a private equity real estate firm. Through offices in London, Nicosia and Hong Kong, 8GCP has activities in property, renewable energy and proptech. Prior to this, he was a founding director of the European arm of HSBC Property Investments, the principal property investment arm of the HSBC Group in London and a director at Prudential Real Estate Investors. Tassos holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics & Accounting from the University of Bristol and an MSc in Land Management from the University of Reading. He is a CFA charter holder and a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) He is a regular speaker at conferences in Europe and Asia and a contributor to the financial press on matters related to property investments and non-performing loans.

    Sophie Chick

    Head of Research, Urban Land Institute - Europe

    Sophie Chick runs the research and advisory services for ULI in Europe. She is responsible for developing and delivering original, objective research on a wide range of issues related to land use, climate change and sustainability, real estate development and investment, and the built environment. Prior to joining ULI, Sophie was the head of department for Savills World Research team and the lead researcher on ESG in the Urban Environment. Working across all property sectors, she delivered market leading research on global real estate markets and the international forces that shape them. Before her global role, she moved to Sydney, Australia in 2016 for two years, where she set up a residential research department for Savills. This role was followed by a period at Mirvac, an Australian owner and developer, which saw her working closely with the capital transaction team to best understand risks and opportunities for potential purchases and sales. Sophie began her career at Savills in 2010 in the UK residential research team.

    Eri Mitsostergiou

    World Research Director, Savills (UK) Ltd

    Eri is one of the lead directors of Impacts, Savills flagship global, cross-sector, research programme, assessing how economic, political, demographic and technological change are shaping global real estate markets today and in the years to come. Eri presents Savills Research in conferences, webinars, podcasts and is a regular contributor to the Savills blog. Due to her long experience in the international property markets, her opinions are frequently quoted in the international property press. She is a qualified Architect and has completed the MSc in European Property Development and Planning and the Investment Property Forum Diploma at the City Business School. She is currently the Chair of ULI Greece and Cyprus National Council and member of the Executive Committee of the European Research Group of ICSC. In addition she is a Mentor of the Savills Mentoring Scheme. She is fluent in Greek, English, Italian and German and has a good understanding of Spanish, Dutch and Romanian. She is currently based in Athens, working regularly from the London office and she has worked previously from the Savills offices in Amsterdam, Bucharest and London.

    Partner, Arbitrage Real Estate

    Ioannis is an experienced investment management and advisory professional. Ioannis is a Partner in Arbitrage Real Estate and heads its Asset Management practice. Ioannis is sourcing, underwriting and managing high-yield real estate investment projects in commercial and hospitality real estate in SE Europe with a suitable profile for distress and value add funds. In the past, Ioannis worked for Europa Capital in London, where he oversaw its real estate development investments in Europe. Prior, Ioannis worked for Deloitte in London, where he was involved in a variety of advisory assignments focusing on real estate management and capital programmes. Ioannis has also conducted consulting work for Citigroup in Rome. In the early stages of his career, Ioannis worked for a major infrastructure contractor. Ioannis has a civil engineering background and holds an MBA from ESCP Europe and an MSc in Construction Economics & Management from UCL.
