    ULI Greece & Cyprus is pleased to invite you to the launch of our Emerging Trends in Real Estate® Europe 2021 report with a focus on ULI Greece & Cyprus. The event will take place virtually on Wednesday, 09 December 2020 at 17:00 - 18:00 EET.

    The report provides an outlook on European real estate investment and development, real estate finance and capital markets, as well as trends by property sector and geographical area. It is based on the opinions of more than 800 internationally renowned real estate professionals - including investors, developers, lenders, agents, and consultants.

    Dimitris Delevegos

    Kathimerini

    Dimitris Delevegos is a journalist at Kathimerini newspaper and Money Review. As a reporter his focus is on business, economics, real estate, tourism, construction, aviation and state-owned enterprises. He is a graduate of Panteion university of Social and Political Sciences and he holds a post-graduate degree in Communications management. He has been granted the financial reporting prize by “Botsis” Foundation for the Promotion of Journalism. He speaks English and French.

    Christos Kakkavas

    Head of Corporate Solutions, Athens Economics In Alliance with Jones Lang La Salle

    Chris has a background in geography and urban planning and is a founding member of the Geography Association of Greece, member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, member of the Hellenic Association of Logistics and member of the Greek Association of Urban & Regional Planners, member of the Greek Cold Storage & Logistics Association. Chris is currently the Head of Capital Markets & Corporate Solutions in Athens Economics – JLL and is responsible for both advisory and agency work for local and international companies to determine a disposal/ consolidation/ relocation strategy. He is also a logistics expert with deep knowledge of the Greek industrial market. His past experience includes academic teaching (Technological Educational Institution of Athens and DIEK Nea Ionia) and consulting at Geoscience. He has chaired the ULI Young Leaders programme in Greece and is an ex-member of the Greek Association of Chief Executive Officers.

    Vasilis Zeimpekis

    Assistant Professor, University of the Aegean

    Dr. Zeimpekis is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Financial & Management Engineering at the University of the Aegean, Executive Advisor at OPTILOG Advisory Services and Vice President of Administration at the BoD of the Hellenic Logistics Association (EEL). Vasileios is also lecturing at the Hellenic Open University as well as in other Greek and European Universities as guest lecturer. He is also appointed as Member in the Hellenic Committee for Logistics Competitiveness as well as a transportation expert in the United Nations (UNECE). His research interests focus on Supply Chain Management with emphasis on Transport/Logistics operations & Information Systems. He has published 7 edited volumes in the management of Supply Chains and more than 90 papers and studies in academic journals and conferences. During the last 20 years he has participated in more than 50 research and 150 industrial projects. Vasileios is also a reviewer at the Hellenic General Secretariat of Research & Development, as well as at the European Union (DG MOVE). Dr. Zeimpekis holds a BEng(Hons) in Electronic and Computer Engineering from the University of Essex (UK), an MSc in Mobile & Satellite Communications from the University of Surrey (UK) and an MSc in Engineering Business Management from the University of Warwick (UK). He earned his PhD from the Department of Management Science and Technology at the Athens University of Economics and Business (GR). Dr. Zeimpekis is member of the Technical Chamber of Greece, of the Economic Chamber of Greece, and the European Technical Chamber (FEANI).

    Apostolos Kakkos

    Chairman and CEO, Lamda Hellix Data Centers

    Apostolos Kakkos is founder and CEO of Lamda Hellix since 2002, while in 2013 assumed also the role of Chairman of the Board. Prior to that, he had held top management positions with listed companies within the IT, Telecom and Financial Services sectors and served on the Board of Directors of companies in the technology, security and real estate industries. He is also a founding member & the Chairman of the European Data Centre Association (EUDCA) based in Brussels. Apostolos has formed, sold and is shareholder and Executive Board member in a number of companies in the Technology, Security and Real Estate sectors. Apostolos has been honored with the Kouros Award for Development and Innovation, the Best European Data Centre Entrepreneur Award and the RSM Ruban D’ honneur RSM Entrepreneur of the Year Award. He holds a BSc in Physics from the University of Athens, a MEng in IT from University College London (UCL) and an MEng in Industrial Relations & Management from the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE). He has also followed executive training in Finance, M&A and Venture Capital at London Business School (LBS) & University of California, Berkeley.

    Eri Mitsostergiou

    World Research Director, Savills (UK) Ltd

    Eri is responsible for the coordination of Savills European Research and for providing advice to Savills clients on their strategy and activity in the European property markets. Eri has over 20 years of experience in the European Property Markets and her opinions are regularly quoted in the international property press. Over the recent years Eri has focused on the impact of technology and demographic change on the use of space, and the rising importance of the living sectors on investment strategies. She frequently presents her views in conferences, podcasts and blogs. She is a qualified Architect and has completed the MSc in European Property Development and Planning at UCL and the Investment Property Forum Diploma at the City Business School. She is currently the Chair of ULI Greece and Cyprus National Council. In addition she is a Mentor of the Savills Mentoring Scheme. She is fluent in Greek, English, Italian, German and Romanian and has a good understanding of Spanish and Dutch. She is currently based in Athens, working regularly from the London office and she has worked previously from the Savills offices in Bucharest, Amsterdam and London.
