ULI Germany is pleased to announce that the ULI Europe Young Leaders Autumn Study Tour will take place between 5 – 6 November in Berlin. The event will bring together speakers from a range of different disciplines to share thoughts on net-zero carbon cities and creating a more sustainable built environment.
The programme will include:
- Keynote on 'Bauhaus der Erde' - A non-profit organisation, founded exactly 100 years after the original Bauhaus, with the objective to transform the built environment to be more environmentally sustainable and socially inclusive
- Smart City Workshop: 'How to integrate green into your project planning?' - hosted by Drees & Sommer
- Historical bus tour of Berlin
- Site visit of 'Die Macherei Berlin-Kreuzberg'– A development which includes: the "Holz-Carré" (M40), an innovative new wood-hybrid construction; the 90-meter-high "design -Tower "(M50), an ecological revitalisation; and the completely climate-neutral "Zero-CO2-Haus "(M60)
- Four-course dinner at FREA - Berlin's first vegan and zero-waste restaurant

Cancellations for non-Covid related reasons:
- Written cancellation and refund requests must be received by 4 October 2021, in this case a full refund minus a €50 processing fee can be given- No refunds will be given for cancellation requests received after 5 October 2021
- Registration may be transferred to another staff from the members organisation, however a €50 transfer fee will be charged
COVID-19 related cancellations:
The
health and safety of our members and staff is ULI's highest priority, and the
Young Leaders Autumn Study Tour will be run according to the safety standards
advised by the WHO and mandated by the local government. Please note that there
may be additional measures in place to ensure safety in relation to COVID-19 at
the time of the event. We will monitor and adhere to any change in government
guidance. Please do check the hotel policies carefully when making the room
reservation as ULI will not take responsibility in case of event
cancellation.
In
case the Young Leaders Autumn Study Tour cannot be held from 5-6 November 2021,
for example due to Force Majeure, increased international travel restrictions,
and/or local government restrictions in relation to COVID-19, ULI will
reschedule the Young Leaders Autumn Study Tour to take place within 365 days
and your registration will be automatically transferred to the rescheduled
event. In case you will not be able to participate on these new event dates, a
full refund of the registration fee will be issued.
