On June 12, 2025, the ULI Greece & Cyprus Young Leaders Group successfully launched a new event series titled “Leaders in Real Estate: Career Journeys and Lessons Learned.” The inaugural session took place at the offices of Arbitrage Real Estate/Colliers Greece in Nea Smyrni, welcoming both ULI members and non-members to an engaging discussion on professional growth and leadership within the real estate industry.

The series is designed to bring together distinguished professionals who share their personal career journeys, the pivotal moments that shaped their paths, and the lessons learned along the way — offering valuable insights and inspiration to the next generation of real estate leaders.

For this first session, we were honored to host two renowned speakers:

• Georgios Vitoulas, Partner and Head of Development Management at Arbitrage Real Estate
• Ioannis Orfanos, Partner and Head of Capital Markets at Colliers

Both speakers shared their experiences navigating the real estate sector, from the early stages of their careers to their current leadership roles. Their reflections offered practical advice and encouragement to young professionals eager to grow, adapt, and make a meaningful impact in an evolving market landscape.

The Young Leaders initiative aims to create a space where emerging professionals can connect, learn, and exchange ideas with industry experts. The thought-provoking discussion inspired all participants and set the tone for many meaningful sessions in the future.
